I am a writer who has a passion to encourage, inspire and challenge people to their fullest potential. I have a poetry page (www.poemhunter.com/deidreblair), a published book (Fitly Spoken Words: A Book of Poetry, Prose & Powerful Revelations) and songs that have been published (Kingdom Records/BMI). One of my songs has earned a RIAA Gold Record (I Worship You in the Spirit/Praise Is What I Do – Shekinah Glory Ministry).

I am an executive assistant by profession. I’ve served in the U.S. Marine Corps for ten years and I have one son, Brandon. In my spare time, I love to read, look at movies, dine at fine restaurants and indulge in spa treatments. I also love to travel and have many places I would like to visit domestically and internationally.

It is my desire to someday start a not-for-profit organization that will assist young people in their endeavors to become published writers.
